CATEGORIES & PRICES

  • Elite Men (18-39)

    For those at the pointy end of the field and want to challenge themselves against some of the best in Asia and the World. 

  • Open Men (18-39)

    Open to all riders aged 18-39

  • Master C Men (50 Up)

    For the Golden boys who still can go fast.

  • Elite Women (All)

    A good challenge for competing against the best female riders in the Asia and the World.

  • Master B Men (40-49)

    For the fastest riders aged 40-49

  • U18 (17 & below)

    For the young guns aged 17 and below

BIKE REQUIREMENT

It’s the rider responsibility to use a mountain bike in working condition and designed to withstand the abuse of Enduro racing.

  • At least 1 front suspension with approximately 120 – 180mm travel with good transmission ration for riding both uphill and downhill.
  • Minimum wheel size of 26”
  • Tire must be wider than 2.0”
  • Rear suspension is an optional but it strongly encourage riders to use full suspension bike
  • Bar ends are forbidden and handlebar extremities must be protected with caps or lock-On grips.
  • If a bike presents sharp broken parts at the start, the race organizer has the right to refuse to let the rider to participate in the event.
  • Riders are NOT permitted to use an E-Bike on any part of the course during Official Training and race.

SAFETY

Helmet

All riders must wear a helmet during competition, during both
Liaison and Special Stages. The helmet should meet the
regulations set by the EWS event organiser. The correct
fitting, condition and suitability of the rider’s helmet is the
sole responsibility of the rider.

Knee Pads

Knee pads are the most important protection apart from your
helmet whenever you go out mountain biking.

gloves

Gloves

Not only will gloves help protect your hands should you
take a fall – a decent grip can help with bike control,
particularly in wet or muddy conditions.

goggles

Goggles

While glasses can be worn, goggles will provide superior
protection against the wind, dust, dirt and mud that will
inevitably crop up when tearing down trails.
